Customizing a school floor installation is a very easy and effective way to promote school spirit throughout a district. Milburn Flooring installs Water Jet logos. A Water Jet logo can be made with various types of flooring materials. Milburn recently installed water jet logos in Wampus Elementary School in Byram Hills School District and Mamaroneck Avenue School in White Plains School District.
Wampus Elementary’s hallway installation is being installed in stages. This is an ongoing project done not to cause disruptions in the school day. The Bobcat logo was installed along with a colored border to complement the hallway. The tiles had to be split by laser jet for the border to fit.
Mamaroneck Avenue School had 7,823 sq. ft. VET tiles installed over February break. Frank Stefanelli, the school’s Facility Director, determined the colors and design layout. The Paw water jet logo was installed in the school’s hallway, and the Superintendent’s office was completed with carpet tile last summer. Laserjet cuts were also made here to accommodate the space of this installation. The impression left by a custom logo in the floor installation is significant and effective for students and the community.
The RENU team was also involved in this project with stone tile on the walls.
