East Ramapo school district upgraded all their flooring throughout the entire school district consisting of 6 school buildings this past summer. RENU had only 6 weeks to prep for this job. They managed the rip-up of existing floors, abatement, moving room contents, carpentry, painting, and new ceilings. Milburn Flooring performed self- leveling and installation of new Mannington floors from the ‘No Reservation’ and ‘Stride’ product lines in various colors. Each school had a variation of the same color scheme to show consistency throughout the district. Rich Regino, a RENU Demo Supervisor and his team successfully executed the rip-up both effectively and on time. Richard Rupe, Milburn’s Senior Prep Crew Leader, and his team championed the effort of performing Milburn’s largest self-leveling job yet pouring about 40,000 sq. ft. within 10 hours. RENU and Milburn completed this project on time with the school ready before school started. A total of 11 schools in the East Ramapo school district will be upgraded. The remaining 5 will be done during the summer 2023.
